Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artist

Apart from being an experienced calligrapher who also specializes in Chinese ink painting, my recent projects include TV host for calligraphy teaching programs and participating in various art exhibitions.

Cats have been my inspiration for many years. Not only because of my love for them but also because of their calming effects on people. I admire their spontaneous and mischievousness. “Freedom Cat” (自由猫) is the name of my series as well as the theme of this exhibition. In Japanese, freedom cat also means “stray cat”. Although they may not have a secure future, they still enjoy life to the fullest, nothing deters them from being carefree. Enoying sunbathing or wandering around as if nothing else really matters. They remind us, Carpe Diem, seize the day!
